Teaching Philosophy

I have wanted to be a teacher since I was in the second grade and my plan has never changed in the 30 years since then. It has been a long path to get here, but I am excited to begin my career as a teacher! I have had many teachers who have touched my life and influenced my decision to become a teacher. I have seen firsthand the difference a good teacher can make in the life of a child and I feel like my true talent and passion lies in working with young kids. I am also a passionate learner and excited about learning and experiencing new things, and my main goal as a teacher will be to tap into childrens' natural curiosity about the world and make them excited about all the things they can learn!
